The Threshold Membership
For Her Path
If you believe in this work—
If you’ve ever been nourished by a moment of stillness
You are already apart of it.
Why Support Matters
The Threshold is sustained through quiet support
What your support makes possible
• Commissioning and fairly paying practitioners, doulas, herbalists, and clinicians
• Publishing accessible, high-quality articles on women’s health and physiology
• Developing a digital platform (app) for ongoing care and learning
• Expanding access for underserved and marginalized women
• Building a space that is grounded, informed, and culturally aware
Who Contributes
This work is shaped by practitioners and women working across:
• somatic health
• reproductive and hormonal care
• holistic nutrition
• bodywork and healing practices
They are paid for their knowledge, time, and labor.
Who This Is For
Women seeking:
• clarity about their bodies
• trustworthy, accessible information
• support beyond clinical or dismissive systems
With a focus on those who have been historically underserved.

FAQs
-
A monthly or annual membership to help fund the work of The Hemline:
Creative mentorships for girls
The Emergency Care Fund
Interviews, archives, and creative labor
Your studio dreams, workshops, zines, and more
-
Not in a gated, transactional way.
We offer supporters seasonal dispatches (PDF zines, journal guides, behind-the-scenes notes) and early access to calls for art, workshops, or intimate gatherings. You may also be named softly in our credits — or remain anonymous, if that feels better. But most of all:
You’ll know that your support helps someone else write, rest, dress, or breathe more freely. -
Your support flows directly into the care-based work that The Hemline holds:
Emergency microgrants for women, femmes, and youth in quiet crisis
Creative mentorships for young writers, artists, and dreamers
Archival storytelling projects and community interviews
The development of tools like Watering Your Garden, a ritual-based wellness app
Behind-the-scenes creative labor: podcasting, writing, zine-making, programming, and rest
This is not a corporation. It’s a living studio.
Every thread counts. -
Not at this time.
The Hemline operates as a hybrid platform: part creative studio, part community-rooted initiative. While we carry out nonprofit-aligned work—such as mentorship, emergency care, and wellness access—we are not yet a registered 501(c)(3), so contributions are not tax-deductible.Your support is considered a direct gift:
A contribution toward storytelling, survival, and soft infrastructure that sustains women and femmes. As our structure evolves, we’ll be transparent about how that affects your giving.
You’ll always know where your support flows. -
Absolutely. You are welcome here. Always.
Other ways to support The Hemline:
Share our work with someone who needs it
Submit to our calls for stories, letters, or photos
Offer time as a volunteer (editorial, tech, event support, youth mentorship)
Simply read, reflect, and witness — that is part of the circle too
We believe care should never be conditional.
You are already a thread in this work.
Your presence here is not taken for granted.
Whether you support through giving, reading, sharing, or simply witnessing —
you are part of the fabric that holds this work together.
This space lives because of people like you.
Truly, thank you.
